Sports
In Ancient Greece every Greek City State had a gymnasium because sports was a big interest for people. In these gymnasiums they did sports such as running, jumping, and wrestling. Since men got called into the military unknowingly, men always had to stay in shape. Staying in shape also helped for the contests the men preformed in. These contests included running, leaping, wrestling, throwing of the discus and throwing of the Javelin. Men could only be in the contests, and could only watch the contests, women could not because it was done nude. The contests were one to five days at olympia having different events each day.
